Evening came and morning came on the third day of the first project of 2025! So far, book block cleaned and restored, leather jointed end papers attached, gold edge decoration accomplished, handmade leather end bands stuck in place, spine linings with linen hinges put on, boards bevelled and attached… leather prepared for a three quarter leather binding and sympathetic, but stunning, marble paper selected… tomorrow the fun bit!
